Policies for families
Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
When to keep your child home
Your child stays home if they wake up with a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or a rash we do not recognize, and comes back after a full day without those symptoms. If they get sick during the day, Zuleyka calls you right away so someone can pick them up.
Drop-off and pickup
Each child is handed over in person, at the door, and only to the people you have given us in writing. We ask for ID from anyone we do not know.
Late pickup
If you are going to be late, tell Zuleyka by message or phone. The rules for late pickup are in writing in the enrollment papers and we talk them over in person.
Meals, snacks and allergies
Zuleyka makes lunch and two snacks in her kitchen, with home cooking: rice and beans, soups, root vegetables and fruit. Tell us about any allergy on the tour; once you enroll, we ask again in private. Families of babies bring the milk or formula.
Naps and safe sleep
Babies sleep on their backs, in their own crib, with nothing else in the crib. Older children rest on mats, at the time each one needs.
Closures for weather and holidays
We close on the holidays we give you in writing when you enroll. If Zuleyka is sick or has an appointment, Odalis looks after the group. If we have to close for the weather or any other reason, we tell you by text message and on WhatsApp.
Leaving the program
We ask for two weeks' notice in writing before your child leaves the program.
Have another question?
Come on a tour, or message us on WhatsApp and we will answer at the end of the day.
